Historia ya Tanzania na Maadili is one of the compulsory subjects in the Secondary Education level Form I – IV for students in the General and Practical Education stream.

This lesson is taught in Kiswahili language to build and to develop traditions, customs and culture of the Tanzanian. Also, this lesson aims to build a patriotic and responsible Tanzanian who knows the history, customs, traditions and values ​​of Tanzania.

Some of the objectives of this lesson are to build values, promote nationalism and patriotism as well as protecting the interests of the country and the Nation.

It is hoped that this subject will enable the graduate to live accordingly the basics of appreciating work, responsibility, personality, integrity, unity, patriotism, love and appreciating the nation’s resources.
