An interjection is a word or phrase that expresses strong emotions or sudden feelings. It is often used to convey surprise, excitement, anger, joy, or other emotions, and typically stands alone in a sentence, sometimes followed by an exclamation mark.
Types of Interjections:
I. Emotional Interjections:
These express strong feelings or emotions such as happiness, surprise, anger, or disappointment.
Examples:
Wow! (Surprise or admiration)
Oh no! (Disappointment or worry)
Yay! (Happiness or excitement)
Ugh! (Disgust or frustration)
II. Greeting Interjections:
