Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC) is a private, fully-accredited, non-profit International School, located in beautiful Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Our program starts from Kindergarten and goes through grade 12.
Classes are taught by licensed, native English-speaking teachers. Based on an American and Tanzanian philosophy and approach. HOPAC has proudly provided education from a Christian perspective since 1994. Many staff at Haven of Peace Academy come through NICS or with the support of mission agencies based in the US, Canada and the UK.

Tuition Fees
Tuition fees at HOPAC are charged on an annual basis and vary depending on the grade level of the student. For the 2024 academic year, the fees for primary school range from $11,000 to $14,000 per year, while fees for secondary school range from $14,500 to $16,500 per year. The school also offers a discount of 5% for families with more than one child enrolled at the school.
Boarding Fees
For students who choose to board at the school, additional fees are charged on top of tuition fees. The boarding fees cover the cost of accommodation, meals, and other related expenses.
For the 2024 academic year, the boarding fees range from $6,500 to $10,000 per year, depending on the grade level of the student.

Payment Terms

The bi-annual payment plan requires two equal payments, one before the start of each semester. The quarterly payment plan requires four equal payments, one before the start of each quarter.

3. Capital Development Fee
A contribution to the development of the school site (Capital Development Fee) is required for every student entering the school. This amount is $2,500.
4. Assessment Fee
An assessment fee must be paid in cash at the school when assessment takes place.
