Kiswahili PSLE NECTA Examination Format 2024 PDF
The Kiswahili Test format has been prepared based on the 2015 Kiswahili subject outline that began to be used in 2017 (2019 edition).
The outline identifies the General Competencies and specific competencies that a student is required to acquire at the Primary Education level from Standard III to VII.
Thus, the Kiswahili subject test that will be prepared using this format will aim to test the competencies acquired by the candidate from Standard III to VII.
This format is a product of improvements made from the 2020 format which had 45 questions.
Thus, the Kiswahili subject test will have six (6) questions with a total of 35 items that come from six (6) specific competencies in two (2) general competencies.
The aim of these improvements is to enable the candidate to keep up with the changes in Science and Technology occurring around the world and to build a foundation of competence in secondary and higher education.
