The Commissioner General of the Fire and Rescue Service by virtue of the powers vested in him by virtue of Section 14(4) of the Fire and Rescue Service Act, Cap. 427, read with Regulation 5(1) of the Fire and Rescue Service Service Regulations of 2008; hereby announces the recruitment of Constables to the rank of Constables in the Fire and Rescue Service for young persons with the following qualifications: –

A: Elimu ya Kidato cha Nne

Applicant qualifications.

Be a Tanzanian citizen by birth
Have a National Identity Card or National Identification Number issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA)
Be in good physical and mental health
Have no criminal record
Be single or married
Have no tattoos
Have never used any type of drug
Be willing to attend Fire and Rescue training
Have never been employed by the government
Be not less than 5.7 feet tall for a male and 5.4 feet for a female
Be willing to support themselves in all stages of the interview if called
Be willing to work wherever they are assigned after completing the training
Age from 18 to 25 years.

B: ELIMU YA KIDATO CHA NNE NA SITA

Truck Drivers, Diploma level Nurses, Fire and Rescue professions, Diploma level Doctors, Automotive Technicians, Divers and Swimmers, Sportsmen, Brass Band, Office Writers, Diploma level IT and Diploma level Aircraft Electricians.

Applicant Qualifications

All the qualifications specified in Paragraph 1 (a to l)
Age from 18 to 28 years
Divers and swimmers will be subject to practical testing
Drivers, must have a Class E license (those called for Interview will be subject to practical testing to drive heavy vehicles).

C: ELIMU YA SHADA (DEGREE HOLDERS)

Marine Engineers, IT, Aeronautical Engineers, Construction Quantity Surveyors (QS), Law
(law school graduates with practical experience), Oil and Gas, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers.

Applicant Qualifications

All the qualifications specified in Paragraph 1 (a to I)
Age from 18 to 28 years.

D: NAMNA YA KUOMBA (MODE OF APPLICATION)

All applications should be submitted through the Fire and Rescue Service recruitment system available through the domain https://ajira.zimamoto.go.tz the deadline for submitting applications is 03 December, 2025.

The applicant should attach the following documents to the system: –

a) A handwritten application letter by the applicant to,
Commissioner General,
Fire and Rescue Service,
1 Mtaa wa Zimamoto,
P.O. Box 1509,
41102 DODOMA.

b) A health certificate form from a government medical practitioner

c) Copy of NIDA ID or number.

d) Form Four examination number

e) Form Six examination number

f) Number of professional certificates from Government recognized colleges at Diploma, Diploma and Degree level

g) Reference number of the Letter of Identification from the Village/Mtaa Executive Officer (Through the NaPA system).

Please note:

a) Copies of other certificates, if any, other than those mentioned in paragraph 4(d),(e) and

(f) should be attached and certified by a Commissioner for Oaths or a magistrate

b) Letters submitted by post, hand or email will not be accepted

c) All applicants should include their telephone numbers in their application letters

d) Applicants who submit forged documents or false statements will be subject to legal action

e) Applicants will be re-assessed for physical and mental health upon arrival at the College.
