The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) is Tanzania’s oldest higher learning financial institution, having been founded in 1972 and dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and consultancy.
Currently, the Institute has 9228 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programmes.
Students at IFM are inspired and challenged to research critical issues of the twenty-first century in financial management, insurance, social protection, and information technology.
IFM provides an exceptional student experience both in and out of the classroom. The Institute is divided into four faculties that confer certificates, diplomas and degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and master’s degrees.
The Institute offers short courses on a regular basis to address market needs. The Institute currently has 38,321 alumni.
