How To Register TIN Number Online?

1. Visit the official Taxpayer Portal (TRA Online Services) website via www.taxpayerportal.tra.go.tz

2. Scroll down and look for the “Apply for TIN“. Click on it.

3. The you will be required to enter your National Identification Number (NIN) with phone number used to register for  National Identification Number (NIN).

4. Select the type of TIN number you need: Non-Business TIN or Business TIN.

5. Fill out the online registration form with accurate and up-to-date information, including your personal or business details, contact information, and tax-related information and click Next.

6. Once you have completed the form, click Submit.

7. Upload the required documents, such as proof of identity, address, and business registration (if applicable), in the prescribed format.

8. Review the information provided and submit the registration form.

9. You can check the status of your TIN application by clicking on TIN Status. To get a printable copy of your TIN certificate, click on Print Certificate.”
