DART Agency is a government entity established by GN No. 120 of 25th May 2007 under the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997 and its subsequent amendments. The key role of the DART Agency is to establish and operate the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system for Dar es Salaam.
The Agency aims at achieving the following objectives:
a) Establish and operate Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system for Dar es Salaam, branded Dar Rapid Transit (DART),
b) Ensure orderly floor of traffic on urban streets and roads and
c) Ensure effective Management of the Agency.
The Agency operates under the guidance of the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG).
DART Vision
To have a modern public transport system at reasonable cost to the users and yet profitable to the operators using a high quality capacity buses which meet international standards, environmentally friendly, operating on exclusive lanes, at less travelling time.
DART Mission
To provide quality, accessible and affordable mass transport system and improve urban mobility for the residents of Dar es Salaam which will subsequently.

- Improve living standard,
- Lead to sustainable economic growth and act as a pioneer of private and public investment partnership in the transport sector in the city.
TRANSFER VACANCIES
Dar Rapid Transit (DART) would like to invite applications from suitably qualified Public Servant who are interested to join DART through a transfer as follows:-
1. Principal Supplies Officer II- one post (1)
a) Holder of Master’s Degree in Procurement and Supplies, Materials Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration (majoring in Procurement and Supplies), or equivalent qualification from recognized Institution. The candidate must possess CPSP (T) or equivalent professional qualification and registered with PSPTB as authorized Procurement and Supplies professional with working
experience of at least Ten (10) years in related field. He/she must be computer
literate.
b) Salary scale TGS G.1
2. Engineer I. three post (3)
a) Holders of Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with at least 6 years working experience and has registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB). The candidate must be Computer literate.
b) Salary scale TGS F.1
3. Supplies Officer. one post (1)
a) Holder of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supplies, Materials Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration
(majoring in Procurement), or equivalent qualification from recognized Institution.
Who holds CPSP (T) or equivalent professional qualification. The candidate must be registered with PSPTB as authorized Procurement and Supplies professional with working experience of at least four (4) years in related field. He/she must be
computer literate.
b) Salary scale TGS G.1
4. Accountant Officer II. one post (1)
a) Holders of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration (Majoring in Accountancy), Commerce, Finance or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with at least 3 years working experience who have attained CPA (T), ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualifications recognized by NBAA.
b) Salary scale TGS E.1

v. Applicant should attach certified certificates, transcripts and birth certificates;
vi. Certificates from foreign Universities/colleges must be verified by TCU;
vii. Certificate from foreign Secondary School should be having equivalent score
from NECTA;
viii. Applicants should indicate their willingness and commitment to cover the
transfer costs;
