NAFASI ZA AJIRA JESHI LA WANANCHI JWTZ MARCH 2023

Basic Responsibilities of JWTZ

1. Protecting the Constitution and Freedom of the United Republic of Tanzania.

2. Border Protection of the United Republic of Tanzania.

3. Doing Training and Exercises to be ready for Combat at all times.

4. Teaching the public National Defense activities.

5. Cooperating with Civil Authorities in providing humanitarian aid and disaster relief.

6. Promoting independent education and production through the Nation Building Force (JKT).

7. Participating in International Peacekeeping activities.

OPPORTUNITIES TO JOIN THE ARMY

1. The Tanzanian National Defense Force is announcing opportunities to join the Army for young Tanzanians with education from Form Four to Master’s Degree who have completed the JKT Volunteer Training Agreement and returned home.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

2. Tanzanian youth who are interested in enlisting in the Army must have the following qualifications:-

a. Be a Tanzanian citizen by birth with a National Identity Card.

b. Must be 18 to 26 years old for those with education from Form Four to Form Six and age not exceeding 27 years for those with higher education.

c. Have good health and sound mind.

 

d. He should be a Tanzanian with good behavior and discipline, he has not been found guilty of criminal offenses in Court and imprisoned.

e. He should have an original birth certificate (Original Birth Certificate), School certificates and Professional certificates.

f. He has not served in the Police Force, Prisons, Training College or Special Anti-Smuggling Force (KMKM).

g. He should not be married.

h. He has graduated from the training of the National Building Force with a two (2) year volunteer contract and has been awarded a certificate.

Those JKT youths in the camps who already have qualifications, their registration process is done differently from the youths in the homes that this announcement is about.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

3. All applications must be written by hand and submitted to Army Headquarters Dodoma from the date of this announcement until March 20, 2023 with the following attachments:-

a. Copy of National Identity Card or NIDA number.

b. Copy of birth certificate, School and College certificates.

c. Copy of JKT certificate.

d. Applicant’s mobile phone number.
