The Tanzania Police Force is advertising job vacancies for Tanzanian youth with a Bachelor’s, Diploma, Certificate, Form Six and Form Four education with the following qualifications: –

1. Applicant Qualifications

a) Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth.

b) His/her parents must be Tanzanian citizens by birth.

c) Must have completed Form Four or Six from 2019 to 2024.

d) For Form Four and Six applicants as well as Diploma holders, they must be aged between 18 and 25 years.

e) For Form Four applicants, they must have achieved a first to fourth class

(Division I – IV). For applicants with Division IV pass, they should have a score of 26 to 28.

f) For applicants with Form Six pass, they should have a score of Division I – III.

g) Bachelor and Diploma graduates should be between 18 and 30 years of age.

h) Must be at least five feet eight inches (5’8″) tall for males, and five feet four inches (5’4″) for females.

i) Must have a national identity card or identification number from the National Identification Authority (NIDA).

j) Must be able to speak Swahili and English fluently.

k) Must be in good physical and mental health as certified by a Government doctor.

I) Must not be married or have a child/children.

m) Must have never used any type of drugs.

n) Be willing to attend the initial training of the Police profession.

o) Be not employed or have never been employed by another Government institution.

p) Be willing to work as a Police officer anywhere in Tanzania.

q) Be willing to pay for all stages of the interview if called for an interview.

r) Not have any tattoos.

s) Not have a criminal record.

t) Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (NTA level 8), Diploma (NTA level 6) and

Diploma (NTA Level 5 or NVA Level 3) are required to have the fields specified in this advertisement.

B. Application Procedure

1. All applicants are required to write their own application letters in hand (Handwriting) without forgetting their telephone numbers and send them to the Chief of Police, P.O. Box 961 DODOMA. The letter should be attached to the application in ‘pdfʼ format.

2. All applicants should apply through the Police Recruitment System (TANZANIA POLICE FORCE – RECRUITMENT PORTAL) available on the Police Force website link (https://ajira.tpf.go.tz). Applications submitted by post, email or hand will not be accepted.
